It is easy to become forgetful and put things out of our minds but some things we can’t afford to forget.

That cost should not be taken lightly but serve to motivate us onward. (Rom. 5:8; Isa. 53:4-5; Acts 20:28; Eph. 5:25; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; Heb. 10:10, 14, 19-25; 1 Cor. 11:23-26).
- …From What You Were Saved? Not to look back longingly but to remember how far you’ve come, the horrible state you were in outside of Christ, and resolve not to re-turn there. (Matt. 9:36; Luke 19:10; Eph. 2:1; Rom. 6:23; 1 Thess. 1:7-9;1 Tim. 1:12-16; 2 Pet. 2:20-22).
