Parental Involvement
We do not have a youth minister at Granbury Street, though there is certainly enough work for one. Instead, we rely on our deacons and the parents of our youth to coordinate various activities and be involved in helping them in their Christian development. When parents learn to trust one another, they are more open to their children spending time together--at one another’s homes as well as at some youth activity. It is this sense of camaraderie that we encourage in our youth program, hopefully instilling faith in Christ, a relationship with one another, and appreciation for their parents.
